Mark Carney to be Canada’s next Prime Minister after Liberal Leadership Race

With a landslide victory in the first round of voting today, the federal Liberal Party elected Mark Carney to lead the party into the next election. Carney won 85.9 percent of the vote, beating former Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland.
