3,000 Sri Lankans on US Deportation List

About 3,000 Sri Lankan nationals have been identified for deportation as part of a crackdown by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and removal operations.As of November 24, 2024, ICE identified 1,445,549 unauthorized immigrants on its non-detained docket with final orders of removal.
It is reported that there are 3,065 Sri Lankans among them.
